Vauxhall Cavalier 4 x 4 transfer box installation
This procedure is to read back home removal procedure. Note: the removal procedure may not be any oil, depending on the gear.
1. clean off any excess jointing compounds, txb (transfer box) before reinstalling.
2. tap the gear (the ball spline shaft), coupling flange lubricants and txb applied rubber ' o' ring on the flange.
3. apply masking tape (Fig.1B) or fluid coupling and connect the txb sigh/filler txb during installation to prevent the entrance of unwanted material.
4. If you place it in a clean all bolt mounting, temperature sensor, protection and cable tie loosened, place the two bolts (Fig.1A) is required when preparing for Loctite fluid.
5. trolley jacks lift the staging location by placing the vehicle ready. txb Jack gear must be easily manipulated to facilitate mating txb.
6. if applicable, not equipped with a temperature sensor is temporally with the length of a non-fluffy rag and the opening of dirt to prevent entry into two adjacent mounting holes, insert oil plug. If you are equipped with a temperature sensor, it is equipped with a maximum coil and loosely inserted recommenced bolt tied to the cable.
