VW Passat headlamps, L 2001 connection 1.
Look inside for the fuse Panel. You will see a panel relays and relay 173. Take a closer look at 173 relay is installed. Pull the relay 173, to turn off the daytime running, the second method: changing the light switch pin connectors on the back of a light switch lights. Object here is to stop the electric current from travelling through these contacts.
For my 1998-2001 Passats (B5) tape to bend, break or PIN TFL DRL off when the light switch is in the OFF position. For my feeds (B 5.5) 2001.5-2003 Passats over bend, break or PIN (B) to disable the DRLS, when the light switch is in the OFF position.
