02-05 Dodge Ram 1500 Front Light Bar KC 7431 Installation

Note on Sport Model Trucks – This light bar will not mount correctly on sport model trucks without realigning the bumper. TRUCKS WITH FACTORY TOW HOOKS
1. Temporarily remove the factory tow hooks and set them aside along with the bolts.
2. Position your KC light bar so the brackets will sandwich between the tow hooks and the frame. ( NOTE – The light bar must be rolled into Bumper place by inserting the lower end of the brackets into the opening first Bolts and then rolling it up into place.)
3. Use the supplied 3/16” spacers for the inner hook bolts. They will space the tow hook out the same amount as the light bar brackets.
4. Using the factory bolts, re-install the tow hooks allowing the outer bolts to first go through the hooks, then the light bar and then the frame brackets. The inner tow hook bolts should go through the tow hook, 3/16 spacer and then the frame. DO NOT TIGHTEN.
5. Align the light bar so it is centered in the opening then tighten all bolts.
TRUCKS WITHOUT FACTORY TOW HOOKS
1. Remove the plastic filler panels or panel in the opening of the middle of the bumper. (NOTE – Although tow hooks are not needed for installation of this light bar, they can be purchased at your local Dodge dealer if you wish to install them at this time).
2. Notice the 2 holes in the frame on some models and/or 1 hole on each side that line up with the light bar brackets. NOTE – If only using 1 hole on each side, the center hole in the light bracket should be used.
3. Install the KC light bar using the hardware supplied with this package. (NOTE – The light bar must be rolled into place by inserting the lower end of the brackets into the opening first and then rolling it up into place.) DO NOT TIGHTEN.
4. Align the light bar so it is centered in the opening then tighten all bolts.
5. The factory plastic filler panel can be cut down on the ends and re-installed.
