Dodge Integrated Processor-II PN 59362

The Dodge Integrated Processor II maintains a correct idle-speed fuel mixture through the Idle Control Solenoid (ICS). The ICS compliments the FCV by injecting air into the vapor hose. The ICS’ duty cycle varies at idle speeds less than one thousand. This assists the FCV to stay within the operating range. The ICS compensates for deterioration on the mixture air valve, regulator diaphragm, as well as poor fuel quality, and air filter restriction. The Idle Control feature provides a consistent idle setting, which extends the durability of a system, and maintenance time intervals.
DIAGNOSTIC INTERFACE
The Dodge Integrated Processor II prevents false codes on alternate fuels by simulating cold conditions on the oxygen sensor, and ECT sensors. This preserves the OEM gasoline fuel map, and keeps the PCM from setting false fuel-trim codes. In the event either of these parameters deviate from the proper operating range, the Dodge Integrated Processor II will allow the PCM to illuminate the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) and store the proper code. The Dodge Integrated Processor II includes a PN4114 Injector Simulator to prevent false injector codes, provide an RPM signal to the PN59362 and control the injector power for alternate fuel/ gasoline operation.
